This project came about around 5 years ago, when I was approached by Liza, she loved what I was doing and asked me if I would work with her. I agreed. This music was for a documentary, which, sadly, never came to fruition. I was presented with these finished pieces and was asked to simply add to them. I was given full creative license to do what I wish to them. For the most part, I kept it simple, just adding some texture, harmonies and melodies as well as some minor solo work. But, with Hero, it's a slightly different story. All I had to work with was a completely stripped down version of this, Liza singing and playing guitar into a small recorder. I wrote and recorded the song from the ground up, reworked some parts to how I felt it should be. This wasn't meant to be an instrumental, regretfully, she was never able to re-record new vocals for this. However, I used the orig. melody lines that she wrote. It was never my intent to ever release this work, however, towards the end, she had given me full rites to these, to do as i wish. I want to thank you for letting me work with you,no matter how briefly, I hope what I've done here has made you happy.
